Turner Media Group Inc (WZBB-FM) has an opening for a PART-TIME Social Media and Promotions Assistant to join our growing team.
The Social Media and Promotions Assistant is responsible for assisting in developing and executing effective social media strategies and promotional campaigns for the radio station. The role involves managing the radio station’s social media accounts, creating engaging content, analyzing social media metrics, and helping to plan and execute promotional events.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and update social media accounts for the radio station, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube
• Create engaging social media content, including images, videos, and written copy
• Monitor and respond to comments and messages on social media platforms
• Analyze social media metrics and report on performance
• Collaborate with the Sales Manager and Program Director to plan and execute promotional events, including contests, giveaways, and live broadcasts
• Assist in the creation of promotional materials, such as flyers, posters, and banners
• Attend promotional events and assist with setup, execution, and breakdown
• Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activity to inform social media and promotional strategies
• Maintain the radio station’s database of contacts for promotional events and campaigns
Desired Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience managing social media accounts for a business or organization
• Knowledge of social media analytics and ability to use data to inform strategy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
