Sixth annual event will feature live shows, performances, exhibits, midway
The sixth annual Franklin County Agricultural Fair is scheduled for Sept. 18-21 at the county recreation park in Sontag.
This year’s fair will include various live shows, competitive exhibits, agricultural education, live music and performances, and rides provided by Brinkley Entertainment.
The festivities will kick off with the fifth annual Miss Franklin County Agricultural Fair Pageant on Aug. 10 and the 2019 Franklin County Open Horse Show on Sept. 14.
The fairgrounds will open at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18 and will feature five live shows. The Great Lakes Timber Show will return for its second year, while new shows will include the Barnyard Revue, Racing Pigs, Mobile Dairy Classroom and the Cowboy Circus with Danny Grant.
These shows are guaranteed to provide great family entertainment and agricultural education.
The Ag Fair’s competitive exhibits will feature agriculture-related skills and highlight the most prized locally-grown produce and locally-made products in the region produced in this community!
Sponsorship opportunities are still available for businesses to become an active part of the fair and promote their community engagement. This year’s fair is currently being made possible by WFXR News, TNT Auto Body Repair, Jewell Machinery, and your local ValleyStar Credit Union.
