Community Warming Center provides a warm, dry sleep space and a hot meal to those in need. Our Warming Center is open any night temperatures are below 38 degrees. Anyone is welcome and provided with resources to obtain stable housing and other community services.
The Warming Center of MHC is a project of the West Piedmont Better Housing Coalition.
Volunteer Service Opportunities
- Bring a Hot Meal for Guests: Drop off 6-6:30 p.m.
- Help Clean the Center: Saturdays, 9 a.m.
- Donate Supplies
- Volunteer (Evening Shift): Welcome Guests from 7-9 p.m.
- Volunteer (Overnight Shift): 9 p.m. until 8 a.m.
