Help us help those who have been impacted by Hurricane Helene! We are partnering with 4 other congregations in the area to collect enough supplies to pack 1000 buckets to give to the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship and the Baptist General Association of Virginia to distribute to those in need.
Please help us who have been devastated by this terrible hurricane. If you are unable to donate supplies, we invite you to come join us on Sunday, November 3 at 3 PM at Melrose Baptist Church to help us pack and load the buckets.
Here is a list of items that are being collected and the local churches that are collecting them- please drop off donations to the perspective churches.

– clotheslines: 50-100 foot length
– clothespins
Grandin Court Baptist (2660 Brambleton Ave. SW, Roanoke, VA, 24015)
– scrub brush: with or without handle
– heavy duty trash bags: 33-45 gallon size
– kitchen gloves
– work gloves: cotton with leather palm or all leather
Vinton Baptist Church (219 E Washington Ave., Vinton, VA, 24179)
– bottled liquid laundry detergent: 32-64 Oz. bottle
– spray air freshener: 4-9 Oz. Bottle
– scouring pads : no stainless steel pads with soap in them
– dust masks: N95 preferred but whatever is available
Melrose Baptist Church (3520 Peters Creek Rd., Roanoke, VA, 24019)
– bottled liquid concentrate household cleaner: 16-40 oz. bottle,no spray cleaner
– bottled dish soap: 16-34 Oz. Bottle
– pump spray insect repellent: 6-14 Oz. Bottle, bottle must have protective spray cover
– reusable cleaning wipes: no terrycloth, microfiber, or paper towels
