April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. Child abuse and neglect can be prevented, and understanding the factors that increase risk—as well as those that protect children and families—is essential. When children grow up in safe, stable, and nurturing environments, the entire community benefits. Each of us has a role to play in promoting the well‑being of children and supporting healthy families.
