The Boones Mill Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024.
This year’s theme is “It’s a Wonderful Life in Boones Mill!”
The tree-lighting ceremony will start at 6:30 p.m. downtown, and the parade will start immediately following it.
Everyone who attends and our community businesses to bring non-perishable food items to the pantry.
Non-perishable donation drop box will be located in front of Boones Mill Mercantile
Santa will be located at Candy Cane Lane right next to Studio 100
Hot Cocoa & food will be for sale by Studio 100 & Boones Mill Mercantile
Tailgating slots open at 6:00 pm and are limited

with your name, phone number, and a brief description of your entry.
Entries for the parade include four-wheelers, side-by-sides, lawn tractors, and golf carts. Trailers up to 12 feet in length are allowed. No automobiles, motorcycles, or commercial vehicles are allowed. Entries should include decorations relating to the parade theme and the season! Participants are required to pay $10 plus two (2) non-perishable food items for His Cupboard Food Pantry.
Participating vendors must pay $25 and provide two (2) non-perishable food items for His Cupboard Food Pantry. Food vendors must have approved permits from the Virginia Department of Health and a Town business license.
Registration for tailgating is $5 plus two (2) non-perishable food items for His Cupboard Food Pantry.
